We took our first steps towards one of the most important markets in the hydroelectric and natural sector: <strong>Latin America<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2009, our first grilles and a trash rack were installed in <strong>Argentina<\/strong>. Ever since then, our exports have continued to grow as we have carried out projects with grilles, sluice gates and trash racks in <strong>Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil<\/strong>, with sales offices in all these countries.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, we have also begun activity in <strong>Algeria<\/strong>, a country where we are installing various anti-flood gates for extensions to the Algiers metro.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, we began to take part in international tenders in <strong>Canada<\/strong> and we also intend to break into markets in various African countries.<br \/>\nInternational projects now account for <strong>60% of manufacturing<\/strong> at Imesa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; As part of its business expansion plan, in 2009, Imesa decided to begin an internationalisation process.
